"Premium Tungsten Wire for Ultra-Fine Tungsten Wire for Automotive Windshield Heating"
"TS16949/IATF 16949 Tungsten Wire Manufacturer for Medical, Industrial, and Semiconductor Industries."
Our ultra-fine tungsten wire is specifically engineered for the high-end automotive glass industry. With a diameter as thin as 15 microns-roughly 1/5th the thickness of a human hair-our wire provides an "Optical Invisibility" effect when embedded in the PVB interlayer of front windshields.
By utilizing advanced Surface Oxidation and Graphitation technologies, we eliminate metallic glint and reflection, ensuring 100% driver safety and crystal-clear visibility under all lighting conditions.
Optical Stealth Performance: The deep-black matte surface treatment minimizes light reflection, preventing the "glare effect" common in lower-quality wires.
Superior Lamination Reliability: Exceptional tensile strength and elongation consistency ensure zero breakage during the high-pressure glass bending and PVB lamination processes.
Perfect Thermal Uniformity: Precisely controlled resistance (Ohm/m) prevents localized "hot spots," ensuring fast and even de-icing/de-fogging performance across the entire glass surface.
Cleanliness & Purity: Manufactured in a controlled environment to ensure the wire surface is free from oil, dust, or contaminants that could cause delamination or bubbles in the safety glass.
| Diameter (mm) | Diameter (μm) | Tolerance (wt%) | Tensile Strength (N/mm²) | Resistance (Ω/m) |
| 0.015 | 15 | ±1.5% | ≥ 4200 | ~620 - 640 |
| 0.018 | 18 | ±1.5% | ≥ 4000 | ~430 - 450 |
| 0.020 | 20 | ±2.0% | ≥ 3900 | ~350 - 370 |
| 0.025 | 25 | ±2.0% | ≥ 3700 | ~220 - 240 |
| 0.029 | 29 | ±2.0% | ≥ 3500 | ~160 - 180 |
Front Windshields: Primary heating elements for luxury and electric vehicles.

Yolo custom-produces tungsten wire and tungsten rods for the electro-optical and vacuum tube industries, using high-quality, stable tungsten raw materials. The wire and rods are designed to meet specific customer requirements for thermal conductivity, creep resistance, durability, light output, electron emission, reliability, and mechanical stability. These products are mainly used in the manufacturing of electro-optical sources, vacuum devices, various heating elements, environmental protection equipment, medical devices, and semiconductors
High-Temperature Performance
YOLO tungsten wire is tailored to meet diverse high-temperature performance requirements based on specific customer applications. This ensures its suitability for a wide range of demanding environments.
Diameter Consistency
YOLO guarantees excellent uniformity across the tungsten wire. For any continuous 200 mm section, the weight difference does not exceed 0.5% of the nominal specification.
Straightness
Winding Performance
During the winding process, the tungsten wire maintains excellent integrity and does not crack or break, ensuring high reliability for customer applications.
At YOLO, we take pride in using tungsten powder processed in-house from high-quality APT (Ammonium Paratungstate) powder. This approach ensures precise control over the purity and stability of our raw materials, forming the foundation for our tungsten wires' exceptional performance and reliability.
Yolo boasts over 10 years of experience in manufacturing tungsten products. We work closely with industries like semiconductors, medical engineering, and industrial manufacturing to deliver high-performance solutions.
· Flaw Detection

YOLO implements thorough inspections at every production stage, ensuring 100% flaw detection for wire ends as thin as 0.39 mm to identify cracks. The grading system includes Grade A (e.g., 2 crack points per 100 meters), B, and C. Any wire below Grade C is discarded, as more cracks increase the likelihood of yarn breakage during processing.
· Drawing Process

YOLO uses advanced drawing equipment, including a German-imported rolling mill that deeply processes the rod core to ensure a more uniform internal structure. Unlike traditional surface-only processing methods, this advanced technology improves product consistency and quality.
"We previously struggled with high wire breakage rates during the PVB bending process using our former supplier. Since switching to your 20μm graphitated tungsten wire, our lamination yield rate has improved significantly. The tensile strength consistency is outstanding, and the anti-reflective coating passes our OEM night-driving glare tests flawlessly." - Senior Glazing Engineer, Tier 1 Automotive Glass Manufacturer (Europe)
"Your team provided rapid prototyping within two weeks. Furthermore, the industrial vacuum packaging is exceptional-we haven't received a single oxidized spool after weeks of maritime shipping." - Global Supply Chain Director, Automotive Parts OEM (North America)
"Your technical sales team helped us lock in a 15μm specification with exact Ohm/m tolerances. The engineering communication was agile, and the sample delivery was much faster than the 12-week lead times we were used to." - R&D Project Lead, Smart Vehicle Sensor Solutions (South Korea)
